Overview

The Chapman Western Dolly is designed for versatility as well as ruggedness, the Chapman Western Dolly can be equipped with an electronic valve actuator (EVA) for the remote operation of the hydraulic arm. This allows the operator to raise and lower the arm of the dolly from the camera.

The installation of the EVA is simple and quick. The maximum standard camera lens height is 9 ', while the lifting capacity is 785 pounds. Vertical travel of the arm is 5 '.

A unique feature of the Chapman Western Dolly is that the hydraulic arm can be removed from the chassis creating a hydraulic riser with 3 ' to 7' of added height. The purpose of this is twofold; first, it allows for easy transportation and second, allows the arm to be mounted upon another crane arm.
